This was my third year in a row as a speaker at Sinergija, Microsoft conference taking place in Belgrade. Here are a few words about my sessions and of course links to my presentations.
The conference is clearly getting better every year. The venue and accommodation was wisely and well chosen, there's a bunch of young people running around making sure that everything runs smoothly, the attendees and organization member were pleasant. I'm happy for the opportunity to give two sessions alongside some great, experienced speakers and great experts. If you want to learn more about the agenda, visit the agenda page. I met and hang out with some really cool people there, including both speakers and attendees.
Enough praises. :)
I gave two sessions. The first one was about open source in Windows Store apps. I'm really fascinated by the amount of great open source libraries out there which developers can use. I'm pretty confident that most of the top rated apps on the Store use at least one open source library. Unfortuntaly, developers often struggle when searching for the appropriate library. It's noticeable when you look at some of the StackOverflow question on the topic. I got some great feedback after the presentations - thanks everyone for coming!
Edit - I noticed that most of the colored rectangles on the bottom of the slides got misaligned somehow when viewed in PowerPoint online. Sorry!
The second session was about SensorCore SDK - another technology/SDK I'm very passionate about. I wrote about my earlier demos which included SensorCore SDK, Azure, SignalR etc. in one of my earlier posts. It went great, and I was especially happy because the SDK graduated from beta just a week before my session.
Hope to see everyone again next year at Sinergija 15.
